He's not a politician. He's your neighbor.
The residents of District 9 want new leadership, new direction and a fresh perspective - and they deserve it. The next supervisor needs to be someone who is truly approachable. Someone who will listen to the concerns and desires of the people living in Bernal Heights, Portola and the Mission. This supervisor must decisively act on those concerns and desires. Eric Storey is the best candidate for the job.
Eric has lived in Bernal Heights for almost a decade and anyone who knows him will tell you that he really enjoys living here. He is concerned, however, with the issues affecting the community- primarily safety, transportation and beautification. When he learned that the District 9 seat was open in the 2008 election, he spoke with neighbors and other residents of the District to learn about their concerns. Eric also set up a booth at Bernal's Fiesta on the Hill with the theme "Top Ten Reasons to Live in Bernal." His goal was to find out what the people of Bernal like about the neighborhood, but also their concerns about the community. The people spoke and Eric listened.
As a working man without a long history in politics, Eric will offer a fresh perspective to local government. He will listen to your needs and concerns and act on them. He subscribes to the belief that government should be by the people for the people.
We encourage you now to take a few minutes to learn more about Eric, his campaign, and hope you'll either become a volunteer or make a contribution. This campaign is as grassroots as it gets. With your help, we can work together to make District 9 the best place to live, work, and conduct business in all of San Francisco.
