Eric

He honorably served his country.
Now he's ready to serve his neighborhood.

Eric Douglas Storey was raised in Peoria, Illinois, with his younger sister Maureen and his mother Diane, a registered nurse. In 1991, Eric moved to Vancouver, Washington to spend his high school senior year with his father Douglas, a literary agent. After graduating, Eric served his country in the United States Air Force for four years as a telecommunications specialist. He was stationed in England and South Korea. After receiving his honorable discharge, Eric moved to the Bay Area in 1997, living first in Berkeley, then San Jose. In 1999, he moved to San Francisco's close-knit community of Bernal Heights.

Eric became politically active in 2005 and later served as a Political Coordinator with San Francisco For Democracy. He's also a member of San Francisco Young Democrats and the Marines' Memorial Club.
Eric also volunteered with "No on Prop 85", "Safe Access to Bernal Hill", The Bernal Heights Park Association, Move On: Democracy in Action, and NERT (Neighborhood Emergency Response Training).

Today, Eric lives in Bernal Heights with his wife Joanna, son Brian, and their beagle Toby. Eric can be seen walking Toby around the side streets of Cortland, as well as their favorite dog parks at Bernal Hill, Holly Park and Fort Funston.
